Having trouble sleeping? Here are a few top tips-

We all have those dreadful nights, where it takes to long to get to sleep, tossing and turning, getting more and more aggravated as the night passes. Loosing those precious hours at night may not seem important at that moment in time, however, you know how precious they were in the morning when you've had lack of sleep.  It is recommended to have 8+ hours sleep each night, this keeps you more alert and alive in the day! Most importantly it contributes to better health - especially ladies and gents if your looking to loose weight or tone up! You'll definitely  feel the benefit. Moving on... Here are my chosen tips on how to get to sleep at night which have worked best for me.  1. Routine - set yourself a reasonable time at night to go to sleep at least more than 8 hours before your due to get up.. Over a period of time your body will get used to this, meaning it will be easier for you to go to sleep.  2. Reduce technology - At least 2+ hours before your going to go to sleep, don't use any sort of technology such as Television, Laptop/computer, mobile phone etc. As all of those  help stimulate the mind, making it more awake.  3. No high energy drinks/foods - don't eat or drink anything before bed which contains sugar/caffeine. This gives you more energy, which you obviously need to avoid.  4. Relax- Take a hot bath or shower, this will calm you down and make you more tired. 5. Try to avoid lying/sitting in your bed throughout the day, so at night your mind will only associate your bed with sleep. 6. Dark & quiet - Having a complete dark and quiet room will decrease the chance of distractions.. As your mind will be able to relax and calm down to focus on sleep. However, if a particular song, or a night light helps you sleep then use it! It's what benefits you most, so don't not use whatever helps you.  7. Comfort - surround your self with comfy pillows, soft blankets etc. whatever will make you all nice and snug and relaxed. If you have a uncomfortable mattress or anything, replace it! Putting strain on your body will create tension, making it harder for you to relax. Even if something created comfort for you mentally I.e teddy. Then go for it, surround yourself with thousands of teddies! 8. Warm milk - Milk has increased levels of serotonin in it, slowing down the brains activity, making you feel more tired/relaxed.  9. Hot water bottle- Hot water bottles can be used as a re assurance when sleeping, bringing comfort to you mentally and physically. I.e soothing belly pains. The heat will calm your body down. Also, with the heat either soothing your belly ache or heating up particular part of you body, it helps you focus on just that. Decreasing the distractions, yet increasing chance of quicker sleep.  10. Last but not least- imagination! Think of happy things before bed or create stories in you mind, it not only helps you decrease distractions but it also helps your mind concentrate on one thing rather than it being all over the place.  I hope this blog helped you, don't forget these tips are my own opinions, I'm not a sleep expert. But it if you have any more comment them below, i will check them out! Don't forget it's not only the amount of hours you get, but also the quality of sleep :)Please follow me and share thus blog! Thanks.

How diets work for women, or lifestyle we ladies wish to have.

We all know as young or older women diets turn out all the same, forcing your body to starve, expecting immediate results, yet when seeing no change to your body, soon giving up on your healthy active/lifestyle. They may work for a short period of time, but never seem to last... Loosing all motivation, getting caught up in a busy life style or having no self esteem to want to achieve a goal that you had set for yourself. We are all able to think of the past or future very easily. But when thinking about the present... We seem to immidietly deny the thought ever coming into our mind. But what your doing in that moment is key... Think about how YOU feel NOW - how do YOU want to change what YOU feel or look like. Or even what foods YOU want to eat happily - whilst still full-filling the comfort we get with any other fatty foods. Thinking about the presence is the easiest and achievable way to change yourself for the better. It is most deffinetly easier said then done thinking about that "bikini body" that you want at some point, but how are you going to change to get there NOW? Throw away the thought of what other people think of you, or what other celebrities look like.. In the end it is you that is going to change not them... Don't think about the things that immidietly get you down, but how you are going to build up your motivation to work onto how you want to feel, it's YOUR body! Don't think about the end result aa much - progress is NOW, PERFECTION comes later. We all know how our diets work ladies; having the spurt of motivation on the day of our diet, and practically starving our bodies, or following one of the most ridiculous diet regemes possible, to get immediate results... Eating 1 grape the whole day or something we really dislike, and then as soon as you loose concentration - you immidietly become hungry. We then automatically think to ourselves "A chocolate bar won't harm me" - setting of the dreaded cycle. Going as long as you can until temptation encourages us to give in... And eventually we think in our heads "I'll start again tomorrow - properly this time." Then tomorrow comes and we go about it the same way as the day before, and a similar pattern appears - GIVING UP! But its already Tuesday and we can't possible start in mid week I.e. Wednesday. Its then the wrong routine, so we think again " I'll start on a fresh new week" eating unhealthily all the way through weekend to next week, when getting to Monday it's already forgotten about. Until a few week or months pass by and the vicious "diet" cycle starts again. We all know It's true ladies :) ChangeNow! MORE COMING SOON! *My own personal opinions.
